A cornerstone of our mission is to promote the use of local ecotype native plants, the plants that belong in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, around our homes, in our schools, and in our residential parks and gardens.
🌧️📢 Weather Update: This Sunday's Native Plant Open House Sale has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 7th from 10am-2pm at our Rosaryville State Park nursery. You can also see us at Merkle's Monarchs & Milkweed Festival next Saturday, 9/30 (10AM-2PM, 11704 Fenno Road Upper Marlboro), and at our final open house sale Sunday, October 29th. Our online store (https://chesapeakenativesinc.square.site) will be open for plant sales this Sunday at 9AM. Thank you for your understanding – see you on the 7th!

In order to preserve plants native to the Chesapeake region, we aim to connect with the community through school programs, cultivating native gardens, and providing various educational opportunities throughout the year.
Propagate
We grow over 100 types of local ecotype native plants at our nursery located in Rosaryville State Park near Upper Marlboro, MD. They are available for sale to homeowners, organizations, and restoration projects alike.
