Volunteer!

Chesapeake Natives is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that exists to promote, protect and propagate native plants of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. We provide opportunities for volunteers of all ages. Special skills are welcome but certainly not required. We will train you in the skills needed to work with us!

Currently our volunteer hours are:
Tuesdays 9:30 AM -3:00 PM
Thursdays 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturdays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Volunteer activities

Our volunteer opportunities are almost endless! 
Currently the volunteer activities include:

 - Native plant propagation
  - Building native plant gardens
  - Habitat restoration
  - Assist with Plant sales
  - Photography
  - Digital and social media

There are also ongoing opportunities to be involved in the restoration and maintenance of our 1935 historic greenhouse and other structures on the property, and skilled labor is extremely welcome for this!
